Aidan Sheehan
Aidan began his massage practice in 2011 after graduating from the Petaluma campus of the National Holistic Institute, and has worked at various locations in Sonoma County since.
He especially enjoys helping clients work out old injuries and body trauma, bringing you back to fluid movement and away from stiffness and pain, and he has completed certifications in bodywork for trauma treatment.
His enthusiasm for massage has grown since his schooling, and Aidan is a bodyworker who believes massage should be a part of a regular healthcare routine - both preventative and rehabilitative. As someone who has experienced a number of injuries as a martial artist, he personally attests to the restorative power of massage.
Aidan lives in Graton with his wife and two children, and when not doing bodywork, enjoys being outside, hiking, gardening, and teaching karate in Sebastopol.
Aidan’s Passion for Bodywork:
Since becoming a Massage Therapist in 2011, my passion for bodywork has kept growing. As an athlete who has experienced major injuries, I really enjoy seeing people come back into their bodies - being able to move their arm around after months of a frozen shoulder, or finding relief from persistent pain or fatigue - since our bodily health seriously affects our mental wellbeing! This influences my massage style; therapeutically based, with emphasis on listening to what a client tells me during intake so I can address their needs, and adjusting my work to how their body reacts. I am happy to provide you with either a rehab or relaxing-style massage!
