Michelle Cordero (she/her) E-RYT500, RPYT, M.Ed, MFA

Michelle began teaching yoga and movement in the SF Bay Area in 2002. She built her career on her integrity and passion for teaching skillfully and mindfully, and was voted "Best Yoga Teacher of the East Bay 2018" by Oakland Magazine. She has traveled extensively to lead retreats, workshops, and teacher trainings both in the US and internationally. Michelle is currently a Professor of Yoga and Mindfulness for Breathe For Change. With experience in many different styles of yoga, including Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Forrest, Iyengar, and Yin, Michelle teaches in a way that incorporates her many years on the mat.  

Michelle also holds certificates in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy and Embodied Social Justice. A wellness coach and craniosacral practitioner, Michelle aims to lead authentically with a sense of humor, curiosity, and compassion. Her classes are inclusive, gender affirming, trauma-informed, and uniquely tailored to meet the needs of each student, regardless of experience, age, gender, or body shape. 

Michelle lives in Cotati with her rescue dog, Remy, and can be found hiking the many Sonoma Regional Park trails that allow dogs.   For more about Michelle, please see www.michellecordero.com.
